So as some of you have heard, Alaina and I are working on a comic together! She has the wonderful Ashley McMallen, and I’ve got his best friend, Maximus Lorb. Lorb has some antlers that come out of his head, but I couldn’t fit those on a page of so many expressions. I’ll add a picture of those soon.
For some of these, I used Flynn Rider as a reference. This was really just an exercise in expressions, since i’m normally so bad at them, and consistency, since that’s one of my biggest weaknesses.
Annnyway. I hope you guys like him! I’ll definitely be posting more of him! (He’s so much fun to draw omg.)
So I wanted to practice expressions and poses, but I didn’t want to use stock images. And then I remembered that I have about a billion pictures of Tony on my computer from various photoshoots and that he makes amazing faces and poses! So here, Tony! I was in the process of editing Kurloz’s sprite for a fantroll edit, when I realized that I don’t think anyone’s unsewn his mouth yet? So I thought I would, because he’s adorable. His teeth are patterned off of Gamzee’s. So here you go! :D

I’ve been having a lot of ancestor feels recently, and although this is historically incredibly incorrect, I just felt like I needed to draw Summoner at Sufferer’s death.

So on my journey of discovering lineless, I decided to take a stab at a character design for a thing my friend and I are doing. We’re personifying the seasons! This is Harriet, who is Spring! He’s very fabulous~ and has a total crush on Summer while being sort of parental towards Winter. He and Autumn (the only female) have awesome girls’ nights out and stuff and really like bonding over their maternal instincts and such (harvest time and the birth after winter being the inspiration there).
Anyway, this isn’t the best picture, but it was fun to draw! haha
I’ve always had a problem making my lineart clean so I just sort of said “fuck it” and tried lineless art today instead! Here are the first three of the troll boys. I took a lot of inspiration from Xamag for this endeavor, but I think I managed to make it look like my style still. Anyway! This was fun!
So Alaina’s birthday was a few days ago and I made her some really shitty SBaHJ style comics. She demanded that I post my really shitty comics on tumblr so she would have them forever. So I’m posting them. They both apply to an rp we were having at the time, so please don’t really take them seriously at all.
I really don’t have many excuses for them, though. So sorry.
