Part of tonight’s photoshoot, more pictures to come! Alaina and I had some extra paint and wanted to try out our Kankri and Karkat cosplays! It was a ton of fun, and it was the first photoshoot we did using a timer on our camera, so that was cool!

I forgot that they both had this trait. Explained pretty much the same way. Symmetry or forgotten character traits or shipping. It’s still pretty interesting
But I realized.
Karkat is taller than Dave:
Dave is taller than Jade (they’re in weird positions, but using proportions):
Jade is taller than John:
Therefore. John is shorter than Dave and Karkat. Canonically. And can we take a second to just appreciate this?
If Dave is the tallest kid (from what we can see) and Karkat is taller than Dave…
Then just how tall does that make Gamzee?? O.o
If you estimate, that puts John at the bottom of the Capricorn sign…

It was the screeching of the old, overused brakes that ripped him from his reverie. Five years of the same routine had forced him into the habit of falling into a hypnotized state from the time he boarded the bus to the time those brakes cried out in their strangled way. It was a sure thing, an expected thing.
It was, like everything else in his existence, a monotonous fact of his boring life.
so I thought I’d write one. There aren’t any really good theories that I’m trying to back here, but I noticed something the other day.
Unlike Vriska and Aradia, God Tier Karkat doesn’t have any wings.
Now, there are a few explanations for this, so let’s work with it. The first is that only female trolls gain wings, but since we’ve all seen this:
I would just go ahead and assume that that’s not true. However, it can be argued that we don’t know if Summoner is GT or not, so that theory could still stand.
Another idea is that Karkat’s lack of wings are due to his mutant blood. I personally like this idea, and I’d like to point out that this lack of wings would make him very close to the humans, who also lack wings when GT. Hussie once said (I can’t find the exact quote) that the ideal image of perfection for a troll includes large flapping wings, but since that isn’t part of the deal for humans, they don’t get them. This makes the whole matter much more fun to play around with. In fact, one could even go so far as to hypothesize that Karkat’s “cherry red blood” is actually the same as human blood:
If that is true, then Karkat is a sort of troll-human hybrid. I’m not certain if this is valid, but it’s interesting, to say the least.
The other interesting point about Karkat’s lack of wings, is in the ever-iconic symbol of his ancestor, The Sufferer, who, as we all know, had a hood but no wings. For a long time, people speculated that he might be GT, only to be shot down because of the presence of said wings. But now that we’ve seen the Knight of Blood, and we know that Karkat is lacking them, is it possible that Sufferer was indeed God Tier?
If he was, would this explain why the Subjugglator went so far as to burn his body after he was killed? The idea would be that GTs are immortal unless their death is Heroic or Just. While one could call Sufferer’s death Heroic, it certainly isn’t Just. As an added precaution, Subjugglator may have burnt his body. That way, even if Sufferer was good enough to come back, there would be no body waiting for him.
Well, that point gets interesting, too, and leads me to wonder if he did, in fact, come back in some way? My thoughts aren’t sorted through on that, but it’s worth thinking about.
